On April 14 we will be walking in Virginia Institute of Autism's (VIA) Run for Autism 5k. We connected with VIA in 2014 and are truly grateful for the successes and improvements for Steven through their specialized services for individuals on the spectrum of autism.
Would you help us reach our fundraising goal with a donation to the Virginia Institute of Autism located in Charlottesville? This helps Steven and so many families who need the specialized services of VIA. VIA has three entities through which it provides services--consultative behavior/intervention, full school for students in any grade from the public school systems through post-high and then the VIA Academy. We began with VIA through consultative services and then Steven was able to transition to the VIA Academy--a day program for adults. The Academy provides services which are not available elsewhere in our region!
All VIA services help people with autism improve their communication and social skills and participate more fully in their communities. As the number of people living with autism continues to rise, these services become more and more important.
Your gift will give hope to children and adults with autism and their families. VIA has been a lifeline to us and so many people are in need of these servcies.
We appreciate your help and support for any donation you can give for this event. Thank you!
